Robert L. Taylor, 1881-07/27/1947
- ↑ GENERAL INFO: Robert married Dorothy (nee Clark) Blatchly (Blatchley), who had two sons from a previous marriage. She was a widow. Robert and Dorothy didn't have any kids together. I met Howard Blachley in one of my trips to Concordia. They lived and farmed around Cloud County their whole lives.

General farmer, rents his farm. Number of farm schedule: 2
Note: Robert is farming the Taylor Home Place at the time of this census entry. But, my assessment of the records is that he took out a mortgage of $9,000 to buy out Aurie, Fred, and Sara in about 1915 or so, and sold the farm within a couple of years. Howard Blachly told me he continued to sharecrop on the same farm for many years after, probably into the late 1930's or 40's.

St. Peter, a village of Graham county, is located in Bryant township, 18 miles southwest of Hill City, the county seat, and 11 miles south of Morland, the nearest shipping point. It has a number of general stores, a hotel, churches, professional men and a money order postoffice. The population in 1910 was 50.
