Harold son 14 PA-PA-PA Obituary: New Castle News, New Castle, Lawrence Co, PA, Nov. 27, 199, p5 Robert C. Shelenberger, 86, formerly of State Road, died at 10:50 a.m. on Nov. 26, 1991, in East Liverpool City Hospital, East Liverpool, Ohio, following a short illness. He was born in New Castle on Jan. 14, 1905, to Alfred and Nannie Pattison Shelenberger. Mr. Shelenberger was a retired custodian from Westminster College. He belonged to Faith Country Chapel and its WIlson Bible Class. Surviviors include his wife, the former Gladys Grim, whom he married Nov. 16, 1932; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Collins of Beaver Falls and Sandra S. Shelenberger of East Liverpool, and three sons, Robert C. of Boyle, Miss., Fredrick E. of Anderson S. C., and Donald E. of New Wilmington; two brothers, Wilbert of New Castle and Harold of Seabring, Fla, 12 grandhildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul; and two sisters, Della Helle and Roberta Shelenberger. Visitation will be observed Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cunningham's by the Rev. William Hunley, pastor of Faith Country Chapel. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. |
