Harold N. Shelenberger, 85, of 1515 Herrick St., a retired maintenance worker for Sherwin Williams in Hubbard, Ohio, died the afternoon of Jan. 17, 2001, in Jameson Hospital. Born July 12, 1915, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Alfred F. and Nannie Pattison Shelenberger. Mr. Shelenberger was a Navy veteran of World War II. He attended Eastbrook Presbyterain Church. Survivors include two daughters, Joanne S. Knight and Doris J. DePinto, both of New Castle; a brother, Wilbert E. Shelenberger of New Castle; three grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Roberta Schelenberger and Della Helle; and one brother Clyde Shelenberger. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road. A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dr. Velis Vais of Clen-Moore Presbyterain Church will officiate. Burial will be in Eastbrook Presbyterian Cemetery. Military: US Navy-WW ll |
