    In the name of God Amen the fourteenth day of June in the tenth yeare of the Reigne of our Sovraigne Lord Charles by the grace of God Kinge of England France Ireland & Scotland defender of the faith &c: I Robt Marshall of the p[ar]ishe of St Stevens neere the Towne of St Albans in the Countie of Hertford yeoman beinge some thinge Creazie[?] of bodie but of p[er]fect memorie thankes & prayse be given to Almightie God, doe make & ordayne this my last will & Testament in manner & forme followinge, first & Above all thinges I comend my soule into the handes of Almightie God my Creator trusting he will receive it to mercie for the onely meritorious death & passion of Jesus Christ my redeemer And my bodie I will to be buried at the discretion of my executrix here under named, And as touchinge my Worldly goodes my Will is as followeth first I doe give & bequeath unto my daughter Tabitha Marshall one hundred pounds of lawfull English money to be paid unto her w[i]thin one yeare after my decease Ite[m] I doe give & bequeath unto Philipe Marshall my Sonne one hundred pounds of like lawfull money of England to be paid unto him at the Age of one & Twentie yeares, Ite[m] I doe give & bequeath unto Hannah Marshall my daughter one hundred pounds of like lawfull english money to be paid unto her when she shall accomplish the Age of one & Twentie yeares & it is my verie will & true meaninge that if any of my three Children aforesaid shall die before their lagazies shalbe due unto them, then his or her parte or port[i]on soe dieing shalbe equally divided between them w[hi]ch shalbe then liveinge, Ite[m] I doe give & bequeath unto Sara Moulton my daughter & to my daughter Hester Wooden to each of them two shillinges & six pence Apeece Ite[m] I doe give & bequeath unto my Sonne John Marshall two shillinges & six pence & all the Iron barres in the Chimny All the glass in the windowes About his house & all the gates About his one ground, Item the Residue of all & singuler my goodes Chattells & readie money whatsoev[er] my debtes & legacies paid & my funerall discharged I doe give & bequeath unto Joane Marshall my Loveinge wyfe whom I doe make & ordayne my sole executrix of this my last Will & Testament & I doe hereby revoke & dissoenull[?] all other former wills at any tyme heretofore made by me & I doe publish this to be my last will & Testament in the p[re]sentes of these witnesses hereunder written.
