1910 Census Robert L. Foskey was enumerated in his father Miles B. Foskey’s household in Frazier District 1503, Pulaski County, Georgia with his mother Maggie, brothers Burrell, Miles B. Jr, Emmett W., and sisters Fannie and Hazel. Robert was 9 years old. Both he and his parents were born in Georgia.


Bob served in the Navy Merchant Marine during World War I.


Obituary: “Funeral services for Robert Lee Foskey, Sr., age 84, of Apartment H-1, Arrowhead Apartments, Hawkinsville, who died Tuedsay morning, December 17, 1985 in the Pineview Nursing Home in Pineview, were held Thursday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home with Rev. Wyndell Hamrick and Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial was in the Limestone Memorial Gadens. Mr. Foskey, a native of Bleckley county, had lived in Pulaski County for the past two years, having moved from Bleckley County. He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the United States Navy and was a retired photographer. Survivors include one son, Robert Lee Foskey Jr. of Thonotassassa, Florida; one brother Bill Foskey of Bullhead City, Arizona; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Smith of Cochran, Mrs. Hazel Baldwin of Columbus, and Mrs. Doris Jackson of Aetna, California; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jake Foskey, Joseph Collins, Ken Pitts and Bob King. Mathis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.”
