Biography
Regarding Rebecca and her husband, Jacob: "They lived for some time, after their marriage, in Stark county; then moved to Knox county, and in 1849 removed to Seneca county. This family has the distinction of furnishing more soldiers for the civil war, than any other of the Powell families. Three sons and five sons-in-law having responded to their country's call."S3
