We see them in Walnut in 1920. Ray, 39, is "managing farm." Effie, 39, is caring for their children.(ED 21, p 8B, fam #1 93/195) In 1930, they continue in Walnut Twp. Ray owns his general farm and they have a radio. He is 49 and reports he 30 when they married. Ella, 49, was also 30 when they married. She was born in Neb. to father b. NY and mother b Pa.
