Syracuse Post Standard, 5 June 1949: RALPH MANZENE, 37, of 123 Lynwood Ave. died yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Manlius, he lived in Syracuse for five years. He was a salesman and was known also by the name of Mezzalingua. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Durgee Manzene; a son, Stephen Manzene; his mother, Mrs. Mary Mezzalingua of Manlius; two brothers, John and Stephen Mezzalingua; three sisters, Miss Lena and Miss Lucy Mezzalingua and Mrs. Michael Riposa; an aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be... Tuesday... Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church [!].
