He was a farmer in Hamilton Twp., Jackson Co. In the 1850 census for Hamilton Twp., Jackson Co., Ohio (p. 344) Seth was head of a household. Around 1855, the family moved to Morgan Twp., Scioto Co. Seth first paid taxes in Union Twp., Scioto Co. in 1856. Seth & Rachel were buried in the Martin-Rockwell Cemetery.
