In 1880 the Barkers were enumerated next hh to the Benjamin and Sarah Belford family. So there was a long-time relationship between the Barkers, Belfords and the Normans. Benjamin and Sarah Belford were User:janiejac's gr-gr-grandparents! But she never knew of them until undertaking this maternal line study. Rachel Norman Barker is Aunt Rachel to Janie's grandmother Hannah Jane Belford. Hannah Jane had a sister also named Rachel.
