The descendants of this Philip Woolever were all documented by Ralph Woolever in his research which began around 1965. Phillip came to Hocking County, Ohio with his son, John, in 1837. His daughter, Christiana, and her husband, Bertron Mettler, migrated to Hocking County around the same time. 1830 Census - Mansfield Twp., Warren Co., New Jersey - New Jersey underwent an economic depression in 1817 and 1837. The county seat of Warren County is Belvidere. Phillip Woolever and the Mettlers are buried in Prospect Cemetery, a small cemetery located by going out a road across 664 from K.O.A.Campground. Go out to a small church and turn right up a narrow gravel road. It's on the left at crest of hill. Was well kept a few years ago. Phillip is buried next to his daughter, Christiana Mettler who married Bertron Mettler - They also came to Hocking Co. around 1837. 1860 Benton Twp., Hocking Co.
