RAVENA Pearl Jessie Barger, 74, of Main Street died Tuesday in St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was born in Ravena and was a homemaker. She worked for a short time as a stenographer for the state Department of Transportation in Albany. Mrs. Barger was the widow of Harold E. Barger Sr. Survivors include three sisters, Phebe Whitbeck of Ravena, Nellie Charma of Yorkville, Oneida County, and Anna Conrad of South Bethlehem; and three brothers, Theodore Irwin, David C. Irwin and Alfred Irwin, all of Ravena. A service will be at 7 p.m. Friday in the Caswell Funeral Home, Martins Hill, Ravena, with burial in Grove Cemetery, Coeymans.
