PAULINE H MCVICKER HYNDMAN, Pa. Pauline Helen McVicker, 81, formerly of Hyndman, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home, Everett. Born Jan. 12, 1919, in Madley, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Webster and Ella Virginia (Coughenour) Yutzy. Surviving are a son, E. Barry McVicker and wife Rhea (Nader), Beltsville, Md.; a daughter, Paula S. Stahlman and husband Cliff, Buffalo Mills; a brother, Roy Yutzy, Cumberland, Md.; three sisters, Marian Budnowski, East Greenbush, N.Y., Dorothy Papa, Hagerstown, Md., and Barbara Trupp, Frankford, Ontario, Canada; five grandsons, Jeffrey, Eric and Daniel McVicker and Joseph and Michael Lydinger; and five great-grandchildren. In 1988, Mrs. McVicker was preceded in death by Everett Charles "Coach" McVicker, her husband of 47 years, whom she married April 12, 1941. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Yutzy; five sisters, Margaret Shroyer, Mary Yutzy, Pearl Arnold, Lillian Engle and Bertha DeVore; and a grandson, Nicholas Cristarella. Mrs. McVicker was a homemaker and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Buffalo Mills. She had worked at the Celanese Corporation, Cumberland, prior to her marriage and later worked at the Fairfoot Shoe Factory, Bedford. She served as treasurer of the Madley Cemetery Association throughout her life. She was a former member of the Oscar Jordan Post #7375 VFW Auxiliary. Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, on Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Christ Lutheran Church, Buffalo Mills, on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David L. Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Hyndman Road, Buffalo Mills, PA 15534.
