Born Aug. 22, 1907 in Madley, Pa., a daughter of the late Daniel W. and Ella Virginia (Coughenour) Yutzy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Engle, in 1957, and two sisters, Margaret Shroyer and Mary Yutzy. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, American Legion Auxiliary 459 and Salisbury Fire Auxiliary. She worked at Meyersdale Shirt Factory, was cook at Salisbury Sandwich Shop and at Tuscano's Restaurant, Meyersdale. Was house mother at West Virginia University, Morgantown, for Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and later the Tri Delta Sorority. After leaving the University, she took care of elderly folks who were sick or invalids. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating.
