Oral Traditions

PATRICK MC ANDREW one of the first settlers of Lackawanna County, coming from Ireland with his parents in 1848. He married Bridget Lynch and they had seven children. They lived at 103 Cottage Street, Carbondale until their deaths.

He died on November 7, 1889 and is buried in Saint Rose of Lima Cemetery in Carbondale.
