Oral Traditions

As told by Gloria McAndrew Gavin to Kathy Anderson in 2001, Bridgett would sit on John (pomp)s front porch in her black dress with her hair tied back in a knot, and comment "They'll never get me in one of those horseless carriages", as cars went by.

Obituary

BRIDGET LYNCH MC ANDREW She was born in 1840 in Carbondale, the daughter of John and Nora (Pace) Lynch. Married Patrick McAndrew and had seven children.

She died approximately 1937-1938 and was buried in St Rose’s Cemetery, Carbondale.
