She came to New Netherlands on the "de Moespan" or "The Market Gardener" and arrived 1 May 1658. She ordered clothes from Anthony DeMorme, Goldweighers and Broad St, New Amsterdam on 23 April 1658, and received an advance of money in silver and gold. She went quickly to Beverwyck and marriage to Anthony Jansen that same year. Anthony Jansen paid for the use of a small pall on 30 November 1662 and again on 11 June 1664, undoubtedly for the burial at Beverwyck, of two of her children (Albany RDC Burial Records p 4 & 5) (Early Records of Albany Vol. 3).

She married first at Hillegersberg, Holland, near Rotterdam, 25 Oct 1653, Jan Hendricksen, married second at Rotterdam, after publishing intent on 29 Aug 1655, Teunis Jacobs from Beeckum, Holland, living at the Pannekoestrat. By them she had two children, who she brought to America (New York Colonial Manuscripts Vol 14:83).

After living in Flatbush for several years, once again a widow, she moved, with her children, to Kingston, NY before 1675. She witnessed the baptism of her granddaughter there 22 December 1678, and probably died there. She seems to have belonged to a family of some means as she attempted to secure an inheritance from her brother, Myndert, who never came to America, but was involved with the Dutch East India Co (Flatbush Town Paper, Vol 2, p 6888).
