He came to Kingston by 1675 from Flatbush, NY with his widowed mother. He signed the Oath of Allegiance at Kingston on 1 September 1689. From 1690 to 1700 he was a Trustee of the Town of Kingston, and about 1715 settled at Warwarsing. He was a tanner and shoemaker.
