Overview

Parentage

Public Member Trees on Ancestry identify his parents as William Walker=Octavia Allen. The basis for this determination is unknown.

Note: IN the past some Ancestry Public Member Trees identified Oliver Walker as a son of Thomas Walker (abt. 1710-1770) of Orange County, Virginia, but this appears unlikely as Thomas Walker did not name a son Oliver in his will written in 1767. In addition, Oliver [per his Revolutionary War Service Declaration] entered service in Bedford County, Virginia, while Thomas Walker was many miles away in Orange County, Virginia.
