Obituary NORMAN McHATTEN CASTLE HILL - Norman W. McHatten, 84, died March 17 at a Presque Isle nursing home following a long illness. He was born April 16, 1884, at Castle Hill, the son of Robert and Nancy (Porter) McHatten. McHatten was a member of the State Road Advent Christian Church, a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way, and a 30-year employee of Bangor and Aroostook Railroad. Surviving are a son, Truman of Presque Isle; a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Beulah) Hughes, Houlton; 13 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle Saturday from 7-9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 1:30 p.m., and burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Mapleton, this Spring.
