Obituary TRUMEN G. MCHATTEN MAPLETON - Trumen G. McHatten, 74, died April 7, 1986, at a Caribou health-care facility. He was born Nov. 22, 1911, in Mapleton, the son of Norman W. and Lena (Thompson) McHatten. He was a former member of the Mapleton United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was a member of the American Legion in Stamford, Conn. Mr. McHatten had been manager of the dry cleaning department for the Fairfield Hills Laundry in Connecticut for many years until his retirement in 1968. He is survived by three sons, Donald of Sanger, Calif., Timothy of Douglasville, Ga., and Raydean of Hayward, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Judith) Kozak of Enfield, Conn., Mrs. Edward (Janice) Nargi of Valdosta, Ga., and Lorraine McHatten of Baltimore, Md., and their mother, the former Enid Brown of Valdosta, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Russell (Beulah) Hughes of Houlton; 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lee-McPhee officiating. Spring interment will be in Southside Cemetery, Mapleton.
