Per Philip D. Bogdonoff, Jr: Neila had a Pierce Arrow automobile that was stolen. "Don't worry; I'll get you another one," her husband (PDB I) apparently said. She graduated Lowell High School. She worked for the Dexter Co., as a bookkeeper. They sold cigars, tobacco products. Happened to be across the street from the Depot Cash Market where PDB I worked.

PDB, Jr. also claims that there should be a second marriage certificate from Delaware. "When they'd go to Florida for the winter time, they'd pick raw cotton off the side of the road, and sugar cane to chew on. Somewhere on the route south, they'd stop in Delaware, the Reno of the east. I think they used their own names, with fictitious occupations and got married again."

Cynthia Bogdonoff Wheeler (Dec 2003): "Nell was very religious, brought up Swedish Lutheran, but changed to Episcopal (with her sisters) prior to getting married. I think her family was upset that she married a non-Christian (PDB I was born to Jewish parents). [PDB I] never went to synagogue, but there was a memorial service at the synagogue in Lowell when he died. He was a shriner and mason."

It appears she lived in Springfield for only a couple of years after her husband died; then she moved to Lowell.
