Obituary 16 Oct 1976 (local Lowell paper?): Lillian E. Belanger... St. John's Episcopal. Mrs. Lillian E. (Peterson) Belanger, 80, a lifelong resident of this city, active in church affairs, and resding at 39 Warwick St., died unexpectedly Satruday at her home. She was the widow of Aubin V. Belanger and was born in Lowell, a daughter of the late Carl and Marie (Johnson) Peterson. She was a member and active in affairs of the St. John's Episcopal Church, a member of the Bestry, the Altar Guild, the Episcopal Church Women, the Order of St. Luke of the church, and the Lowell General Hospital Women's Association. Mrs. Belanger is survived by two sons, Robert A. Belanger, of Los Angeles, CA, and R. Peterson Belanger, of Wethsfield, Conn.; a brother, Otto I. Peterson, of Long Beach,, Calif.; and 5 grandchildren. Death notice (same paper?): BELANGER - Died in Lowell, Oct. 16 (unexpectedly) Mrs Lillian E. (Peterson) Belanger of 39 Warwick St. Funeral services in St. John's Episcopal Church, Gorham Street Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial in Edson Cemetery. Friends may call at the Saunders Funeral Home, 90 Westford St., from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m., Tuesday.
