Nathaniel Seaver served with Sudbury militia against the French in 1739 under Captain Josiah Brown (Sudbury town history p325, Willis article, NEHGR 114.34)

He came to Narragansett No 2 (now Westminster, Massachusetts) as early as 1750 and settled on lot no. 30, the second from the pond on the east side, where F.A. Taylor now lives. In the spring of 1751 he had erected on that lot "the frame of a house, had cleared and fenced 3 acres of land, and was residing there with his family". On the 14th of December 1758, he sold the estate to Nathan Parker of Reading, but remained in the place nine years longer, whether as tenant of Mr. Parker or otherwise, does not appear. He was undoubtedly very poor, being moved to Templeton in 1767 at the town's expense. He died in Templeton in 1777. His oldest son Elijah seems to have located awhile on lot 23, 2d Div -the Edward Jackson Jr place, Beech Hill - which was drawn on home lot no. 30 but no record of a family has been found. One of his younger sons, Richard Crafts Sever, studied medicine and became a physician of large practice and of enviable reputation in Phillipston and vicinity. (Heywood's "Westminster")

On 8 January 1759, Cornelius Wood of Sudbury was appointed Guardian of Elijah, Josiah, Rebecca, Joseph, Mary, and Nathaniel Sever of Sudbury (Middlesex County (Massachusetts) Probate Docket 20,069, FHL Microfilm 0,421,515). Note that daughters Anna and Catherine are not listed. Note also that Cornelius Wood is probably a brother of Sarah Wood, Rebecca Willis's mother.

Nathaniel Seaver from Templeton and his children Josiah, Nathaniel, Catherine, Luther, and Francis were warned out of Westminster, Massachusetts in January 1763. [Francis E. Blake, "Worcester County, Massachusetts, Warnings, 1737-1788," Picton Press, Camden Maine, 1992, p.85]

Nathaniel Seaver from Westminster, his wife Judith, and children Katherine, Luther, Calvin, Francis, Hannah, Robert were warned out of Templeton, Massachusetts on 29 April 1765. [Francis E. Blake, "Worcester County, Massachusetts, Warnings, 1737-1788," Picton Press, Camden Maine, 1992, p.75]
