Elzie Quinn, Rev. Paul Quinn and Rev. B.M. Howell officiating. Burial was in Dry Bayou Cemetery with H.S. Smith Funeral Home services. She was born in Pemiscot County, on January 20, 1896, and died at the Pemiscot Memorial Medical Center in Hayti, on December 1. She was the daughter of the late Riley and Nannie Bell Jackson, and attended school in Hayti. On January 27, 1913 in Dry Bayou, she married James Franklin Pollard. He preceded her in death on August 20, 1970. She was a member of the Dry Bayou Pentecostal Chruch. Survivors include a son, Lloyd Pollard of Benton Harbor, Mich.; five daughters, Mrs. Grace Noel, Mrs. Kathleen Fowler and Mrs. Hazel Quinn all of Hayti, Mrs. Betty Smith of Benton Harbor, Mich., Mrs. Roberta Lewis of Lansing, Mich.; and 30 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren.
