Obit copied from Find-a-Grave memorial page for Nannie: Pemiscot Argus - Caruthersville, Missourki - Thursday, May 11, 1916 Died at her home in Dry Bayou neighborhood Wednesday, April 26, 1916, Mrs. Nannie Jackson, aged 53 years. She was the mother of nine children, five boys and four girls, of which seven still survive. She had been a devoted Christian ever since eleven years old and lived a life of which her relatives should be proud. The remains were laid to rest in the Dry Bayou cemetery at 3:30 Thursday afternoon, April 27, 1916. The funeral address was delivered by Rev. Arthur Pool in the presence of relatives and friends. Mrs. Jackson was born in Missouri near Portageville, and had lived here ever since her birth. The entire community join the grief stricken family in their hour of sorrow.

The deceased was married to Riley Jackson in 1880, her former name being Bailey. She was a sister to Johnny Bailey.
