Fort Worth Star-Telegram (TX) - August 20, 2000 Deceased Name: Ivy Lee Davis ALVORD - Ivy Lee Davis, 86, a homemaker, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, at a nursing center.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Coker Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Hopewell Cemetery in Wise County. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Coker Funeral Home in Decatur.

Ivy Davis was born March 30, 1914, in Gardenville.

She married Dewey Harrison Davis in 1933, in Waurika, Okla. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.

Survivors: Sons, Jerry, David and Doug Davis, all of Alvord, Max Davis of Fort Worth, Donnie Davis of Decatur; daughter, Carol Lumsden of Sulphur Springs; brother, Austin Hogue of San Antonio; sister, Elizabeth Smith of Oildale, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
