Samuel T. Hogue

Caruthers -- Services for Samuel Theodore Hogue, 79, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Fresno Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hogue died Thursday.

He was born in Texas and had lived in Caruthers for 46 years. He was a grape farmer and a member of the Church.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma; four sons, Ted, Kenneth, Franklin and Harley, all of Fresno; two brothers, Wilmer of Arizona and Austin of San Luis Obispo; four sisters, Helen Woodell of Lancaster, Elizabeth Smith and Dorothy Brewer, both of Bakersfield, and Ivy Lee Davis of Texas; 11 grandchildren; and two great -grandchildren.

Lisle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
