Hi Mary;

Thanks for your address and spring greetings. We're doing well here and spring here in AZ is the start of hot weather. I thought you might like to know a little about me and my family.

My father, Austin Donald Hogue, was the 12th child of Samuel Tilden Hogue and Lenora Wariner, the baby of the family. He 1st married Leona O'Neal and they had a daughter, Dortha. While dad was out to sea with the Navy, he got a letter requesting divorce. Dad signed the papers and when he got back to Mesa found my mother, Marguerite Pearl Viner, and married her. They have 5 sons and one daughter. Mom passed away Dec. 88. A few years later dad married Jo, and they live in San Antonio, TX.

I, Gary Wayne Hogue, was born Dec. 28, 1953, in Salinas, Monterey, California, the fourth child and 3rd son. I married Laura Jane Saltzman May 15, 1975, in the Los Angeles temple. We have 5 sons and one daughter. Gary Mahonri Hogue, b. 29 Apr 76, Provo, Utah, Utah; Michelle Lynne Hogue, b. 29 Jul 78, Provo, Utah, Utah; Michael Richard Hogue, b. 7 Sept 80, Provo, Utah, Utah; Jarom David Hogue, b. 13 Feb 83, Orem, Utah, Utah; John William Hogue, b. 8 Aug 86, Orem, Utah, Utah; Joshua Alan Hogue, b. 12 Jan 89, Decatur, Dekalb, Georgia.

I've always had a strong faith in God. At the age of 6 I remember making a personal decision to always serve Jesus Christ. Had I been a member of any other church I probably would have been a full time minister. If you know anything about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints they are a lay ministry. I've had to learn a career to provide for myself and family. I served a mission for our church for 2 years between the ages of 19 and 21.

I completed a 2 year degree in Electrical and Automation Technology. I have served several years as a technician, mainly computers, and worked mostly with engineers and customers. Through financial frustration I gave up computers and took over a carpet cleaning business. I sold my share of that and am currently doing home deliveries of medical supplies.

My wife was a stay home mom until last year. She now works at Arizona State University. This allows me to go back to school and get a bachelors degree in Technology.

I know that is not much info, and I hope I haven't bored you. If you feel like it I'd like to know more about you and your family. See you later. Gary
