Dorothy M. Brewer

Services will be held Saturday. December 22 at 2 p.m. in Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel for Dorothy Margaret Brewer, 63, who passed away December 19 in Bakersfield. The officiant will be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Brewer was born in Texas, may 5, 1921. She was a beautician for over 15 years, last working for Checketts in the Hillcrest Shopping Center. She was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by two sons, Charles Brewer of Tempe, Arizona and Bruce Brewer of Rancho Cardova; daughter Loretta Pepers of Madera; brothers, Austin Hogue of San Louis Obispo and Wilmer Hogue of Mesa, Arizona; sisters Elizabeth Smith of Bakersfield, Helen Wooddell of Lancaster; Ivylee Davis of Texas; 18 grandchildren and two great -grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the grandchildren of Mrs. Brewer, Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Garden of Memories. Hillcrest Mortuary Funeral directors.
