Facts and Events
Thomas and Janet Morrow gave him land in Logan Co in 1818, specifically identifying Moses as their son.[1] In Dec. 1823, Moses and his wife Margaret sold the 250 acres back to Thomas before moving to McCracken County. Thomas and Janet transferred further land to Moses in McCracken County in 1832 [2]Thomas Morrow Sr. of Logan County transferred additional land to Moses on 26 Aug 1834, at which point his wife was not mentioned.[3] On 7 May 1845, Moses and Martha Morrow deeded land to their son George H. in McCracken County (SW Qt4, Sec 4T6R1W).[4] There are bequests also to Elijah Rudolph and JW Billington and Samuel Rice and Wife. On 7 Feb 1846, Martha, widow of Moses, is absolved of debt by Moses’ heirs: Samuel Rice, William Morrow, Elijah Randolph, George. H. Morrow, and J.W. Billinton.[5] There is a marriage record in 1839 between Moses and Martha Breach, suggesting she was his second wife and not the mother of any of these children. Census
