Origins

George has not been found in the 1850 census, or earlier. However, a descendant has joined the Morrow DNA project. The descendant matches quite closely (near certain common male ancestor in the last 8 generations) to descendants the project calls Group V. One set of participants in Group V are related to McCracken County resident John Smith Morrow. John and most of his siblings were born in Kentucky (not Tennessee like George), and most of his siblings were in Hickman County.
