    Mildred I. Egolf, 78, of Elkhart, died at 5:27 a.m. today, April 29, 1986, at Elkhart General Hospital. She had been ill for six month
    Mrs. Egolf was retired from Needlecraft in Elkhart where she worked as a seamstress. She was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge 59
    Surviving are a son, James of Elkhart; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; a brother, Louis Hertsel of Columbia City; four sisters, Mrs. Velma Waymire of Greenville, Ohio, Almeada Hertsel and Verna Jean Hertsel, and Mrs. Thelma Shand, all of Columbia City. A son, two brothers and a sister are deceased. 
    Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Elkhart. The service will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Everett Caes officiating. Burial will be at Christian Chapel Cemetery. Memorials are to the American Heart association.
