From Driver Memoirs, written by Byron Driver's family - from Joyce Bowers

... Florence, who became a missionary to India and Hubert, who went to China as a missionary [Seventh Day Adventist missionaries]... After three years of service they both retired in California where their parents had retired some years earlier, after selling the old farm.

Remembering Florene and Floyd's last visit to our parent's home, she so wanted to take the large wall photograph of John and Angeline which hung on Mom's wall. Mom gave it to her and she took it back to California with her... their last days at our grandparents home while recovering from the effects of shots taken for foreign protection. Daisy felt quite ill. She said if she could take me with her I would be an asset. Missionaries who had a helper were held in higher esteem.

Hubert also became a medical writer and sent a book... Their record shows one child - born in India. The child may have been adopted, but I am not sure.

For her death certificate, her son said her father, John Wesley Driver, was born in Virginia.
