!OBITUARY; Feb 4, 1949; Lafayette Jouranl Courier. M. M. Bowen, 88, a retired farmer, died at 7:30 a. m. Friday at his home on R8 near Elston, after an illness of three months. He was first married to Mary C. Dunkin, and after her death to Ida Reeves. He was a member of the West Lafayette Baptist church. Surviving are the widow, with five childrem, Max, Mrs. Ruth Kimble, Mrs. June Findley, Croy and Merle.
