From The Westfall Country Book-daughter of a methodist minister. It also says that they had 2 girls and 4 boys for a total of 8 children in Jackson's family.

1910 census Oregon, Malheur listed Jasper's place of birth of mother to be Virginia.

1920 Census Oregon, Henry listed his mother's place of birth as North Carolina. 1910 Census Orgeon, Malhuer listed Henry's mother's place of birth as Virginia.

1880 Census West Virginia shows she was 42. That would make her birth year 1837 not 1835 as The Westfall Country Book listed.

On the 1900 US Census Jackson is listed as a widow so Mary Katherine died before that. Headstone indicates birth year as 1836 and death year 1886.
