From The Westfall Country Book-when he was 11 years old his family moved to Alder Valley. The first school was organized in 1887 so his education started late. In 1910 he moved to Westfall OR. Was the marshall of Westfall OR on 07 May 1912, for only 3 days and was shot by Ace Carey the 10th of May 1912 in Hart's Saloon. Jasper was not armed. He neglected to disarm the prisoner. Wife Daisy was pregnant with John Henry when this occured. She gave birth 6 days later to John Henry.

From a list made at the Westfall Cemetery by Ellen Blanche King Thibadeau he died on the 19 of May not the 10th. Date of death verified via Ancestry.com Oregon Death Index 1903-98. Death cert. 2480.

His DC shows his father's name as John Westfall-place of birth for both Jasper and John was Missouri. No date of birth or mother info.

January 1899 D cursed P using vile and indecent language. On Jan. 4th 1900 D called P a son of a bitch and became very violent and abusive toward P and ordered her to pick up her clothes and go to "hell" thereby forcing P to take their little child and quit their home.
