From The Westfall Country Book. He raised Jeff Welch. The family moved to Alpha in Long Valley Idaho. Operated a saw mill in there in 1890 with son John.

From gencircles-WV & VA families shows his birth year as 1837.

1910 census Oregon, Malheur listed Jasper's (and also Henry's father) place of birth of father to be Virginia.

www.ghosttowns.com/states/or/Westfall.html states that he came to Westfall in 1884 from West Virginia. It also states that he came to Westfall in the early 1880's with their families.

In Ellen Blanche King Thibadeau's notes she said that Jackson married Sarah Ritchie. I do not have proof of this and it may have been an error. Jackson was Sarah's Uncle.

I am not sure if Jackson's parents are Stephen and Elizabeth.
