Gender Female
Marriage 19 Sep 1780 Bow Brickhill, Buckinghamshire, Englandto John Bedford
Burial[1] 22 Feb 1812 Simpson, Buckinghamshire, England

Mary Smith's origins have yet to be established. Her first confirmed sighting is on 19th September 1780 when she married John Bedford at Bow Brickhill in Buckinghamshire. Between 1782 and 1795 they went on to have six children together. The first two were baptised at Bow Brickhill, and the younger four children were baptised in the nearby parish of Simpson.

It is not clear when John died. There were burials of people called John Bedford at Simpson in October 1799 and April 1812, either or neither of which may be him.

Mary appears to have died in 1812, being buried at Simpson on 22nd February 1812. Her burial does not say how old she was.
