    According to the Woodland Cemetery interment record, Mary T Bruce was buried in Vault 70, but a note on the record indicates she was moved to Lake View Cemetery 07-07-1891, only 2 months after she had passed away. She is now listed under Mary K Bruce in Lake View's records and is buried with her daughter Helen and Helen's husband Alfred Robinson.

    This ship record for the St James only includes Mary, Robert and Ellen Bruce with the correct corresponding ages. I believe that James was missed when the list was compiled and that Alexander arrived ahead of the rest of the family on a separate ship. James recorded an immigration date of 1839 on his 1900 census record. Since he was only 3 at the time, and he wouldn't have come alone, he either arrived with his father (unlikely) or he arrived with his mother and siblings (more likely).
