I have only a vague memory of Aunt Emma, who was, as I recall, tall and thin. I recall her at my grandfather Benj. Dennis Lindsey's (her brother) funeral. She sat behind me, and I recall her saying, as someone cried, "It's sad, dear, but it's the price we must all pay."
