The Morning Herald, Thursday, April 27, 1950, Volume 44, Number 93, Page 2, Column 6:
“Miss Mary Frost Dies in New York
Hold Final Rites Here On Saturday
Miss Mary E. Frost, 59, of 277 Park avenue, New York City, former resident of Uniontown, died Tuesday [i.e. Tuesday, April 25, 1950] in the Manhattan sanitorium. She was born in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Wallace J. and Lida Harah Frost. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Daniel Sturgeon, of Uniontown; and one brother, Wallace Frost, of Birmingham, Mich.
Friends will be received at the J. Harry Johnston & Sons Funeral Home on Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m., with Dr. William Blake Hindman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.”
