Now about my grand mother Mary Madena (Frederick) Knight b 29 July 1877 Mount Carroll,Carroll,Illinois d 16 oct. 1906 in Arura,Kane, Illinois, her body was put on the railroad and sent back to Mt Carroll for burial. An also I still can not find her grave I did find the funeral home records and she is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mt. Carroll. There is a family plot where her father and 3 brothers are buried there was a 4th brother but he is not buried there so I wonder if maybe she is not buried in his grave or there may be more graves to thier family plot this is another wierd place they have no records of people in this time the records have some how been destroyed. I even went to the caretaker an he helped me go through his old records they show the big marker and the names on it but nothing about if she is buried in that plot we looked all thru the records and could not find if she is buried there. I tell you this is another strange family to find out things on.
