BIOGRAPHY: From: MStrote@aol.com Date: Sat, 26 Jun 2004 23:02:56 EDT Subject: Re: Me again reply to you To: williamknight57@yahoo.com Excerpt from E-Mail Kurn Kendal Knight b. 9-June-1902 in Fulton,Whiteside,Illinois d. 11-August-1971 in the Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee,Milwaukee,Wisconsin ,prior to his death he was in the Veterans Home there in Milwaukee near the hospital he is also buried there in the veterans section of Memorial Cemetery. 2 years ago I finally got to the cemetery and have pictures of his grave. It is quite a sight because you can stand at his grave and look across the cemetery and see the Milwaukee Brewers baseball stadium the day we were there they had the roof pairtialy opened. Uncle Pete was a ww II vet although per his records which I got he was not in the service to long and was discharged in California for some kind of a medical problem and I could never find out what it was. My uncle was an alcholic and did not have any thing much to do with our family, my father and uncle Pete just didn't get along I can only remember seeing my uncle when I was about 6 years old we did not even know he had been in the vet home until he passed away and we then were notified. He never did get married.
