Mrs. Mary (Colar) Crumrine Mathay, 83, a native of Loudon Twp. and former resident of Carrollton, died Wednesday, August 30, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Nina Galen at Pittsburgh. She was first married to Spencer Crumrine and to them were born nine children, all whom survive. Mr. Crumrine died in 1902 and she was remarried twice. Besides Mrs. Galen, she is survived by eight children, Fred of San Diego, California, Rev. William of Columbus, Elmer of Alliance, Peter of Conway, Pa., Delva of Beaver Falls, Pa., Mrs. Edna Severance of Alliance, Grace of Canton, and Mrs. Daisy Palmer of Bergholz; 36 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Services were held at an Alliance funeral parlor Friday and burial was in that city.
