Obituary for Mary (Broadsword) Winans

"Mrs. Mary Broadsword Winans, widow of H. A. Winans, who passed away 29 years ago, died Monday noon at her home in Ellsworth township of infirmities incident to advanced years. Deceased was born in Ellsworth township July 10, 1824, consequently had passed her 91st birthday. Her entire life was spent in her native township. She was a member of the Christian church of Canfield. She is survived by three sons and one daughter – J. F. Winans of Ellsworth, Isaac W. Winans of Plymouth, Col., H. A. Winans at home and Mrs. Frank Knauf of Knaufville. Funeral services will be held from the family home Friday at 12:30 pm, sun time, in charge of Rev. C. E. Geis, pastor of the Christian church. Interment in the Ellsworth cemetery."
