17. Martha Ann Sevier, daughter of John Sevier, junior, and his third wife, Sophia Smith Garoutte Sevier, was born November 3, 1831. She married Thomas P. Price in 1850 in West Tennessee where she had accompanied her brother John Garoutte Sevier with whom she made her home after the death of their father, John
Sevier, junior. She removed with her husband to Neosho Mo.
They had eight children among them:
a. Frank J. Price
b. Albert H. Price
c. Henry T. Price
d. (a daughter) who married C. M. Harland of Memphis
e. (a daughter who married B. P. Armstrong of Neosho, Mo.
Mrs. Martha Ann Sevier Price lived until a few years ago. She resided in Memphis with her daughter, Mrs. C. M. Hartland, after the death of Thomas P. Price in Neosho in 1905.
