MISS MARTHA GROH, AGE 75, IS DEAD FROM PARALYSIS Miss Martha Groh, a resident of Dekalb County most of the almost seventy-six years of her life, died Sunday evening at 5:30 at the home of Jacob Sigler, a half mile north of Avilla. She had suffered a light paralytic stroke about three weeks ago. Miss Groh was born on April 4, 1861, on a farm in Dekalb county northwest of Garrett near Sixteen church and she lived in that vicinity most of her life. She went to live at the Sigler farm last August, where a sister, Mrs. Flora Dick, is housekeeper and has been for a number of years. Relatives include another sister, Mrs. Sarah Goetschius of Waterloo, and two brothers, Wm E. Groh, of Lansing, Mich., and David H. Groh of Mason, Mich. Miss Groh was a member of Sixteen Lutheran Church and funeral services will be held there Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. O. B. Noren of Auburn, officiating. Burial will be in Sixteen cemetery.
