"Laboureur - MICHEL DU PONT aagé de 37 ans, sa femme Marie Gautrot aagée de 34 ans. Leurs enfans 4, Marie potin, aagée de 14 ans, Martin du pont aagé de six ans, Jeanne aagée de quatre ans, Pierre aagé de 3 mois, Leurs bestiaux a Cornes 5 et une brebis, Leurs terres en Labour six arpans."
1671 Port Royal, Acadia, [p.4]. Marie GAUTROT, age 34 years [so born 1636 or 1637], living with [2nd] husband Michel DU PONT [DUPUIS] and four children. The first child is Marie POTIER, age 14 years [daughter of Marie's 1st marriage]. This Marie is also listed on her father Francois GAUTROT's family list of 11 children, 4 married, including her, age 35. [Step-mother Edme'e LEJEUNE is only 12 years older.]
[Listed in next household is another Marie GAUTROT (age 24 written in above) and husband Claude TERRIAU [THERIOT].

Again on p. 9 (reference to p. 566) Marie GAUTEROT, born 1647, is shown on this page as marrying Michel DUPUIS, and on the next page was marrying Claude TERRIOT. The 1671 census of Acadia shows Claude TERRIOT as her [the 1647 Marie] husband.
