Sirirud History:
from the bygdebok, Boka om Land - Nordsinni, page 461 (a Google Translation):
As mentioned in the settlement history Sigridrud was a high Middle Ages farm, which in deserted times in the late Middle Ages was incorporated into the Tomle-estate and was only a smallholding (cotter farm) before the separation for personal use again. This place lay under the control of Southern Tomle after the farm division.
By the partition-related transaction of 5 September 1826 a property was separated from Tomle, which was sold from "propriettær" Lars Kristoffersen Berg to Peder Johannsen Lunde, which consisted of "places Sirirud, Lysgård and Røste, each of them is fenced, and thus the underlying wood piece north of Karlsbekkløkka and up the following to the bottom under the rock section that goes under the fence closest to the farm to (the Lerskogen road?) Lerskogvegen."
Next came a number of rights, including 4 measures-of-land-that-can-be-mowed-in-a-day of proposed land from the west Ambusæters seter voll (summer dairy meadow), a fenced piece of engeland in Flislien called School Master piece and 6 measures-of-land-that-can-be-mowed-in-a-day of hayfields at Tomleøya - the latter for redemption of mortgage letter to Hans Øybakken.
From this property - then called "Sigridrud" - Rost Løkken (called "Røste" in 1826) was split off in 1832, as 1/4 of the above described property. [Røste was NOT the same as Rusten].
Peder Johannesen Lunde sold the remaining part of Sirirud in 1835 to Lars Evensen and Bottolf Larsen.
Lars Evensen, who was operator there, bought the other half from Bottolf in 1842.
